Scott's Woodworking - presson
Here's the walnut and maple in raw form. I'm used to buying lumber "rough" but this is the first time I've worked with natural edges as well. Fortunately, the wood shop on base has a massive 14" tablesaw. Believe it or not, I had to buy two more slabs of walnut to have enough for the bed. Hopefully this is enough maple for the entire bedroom set, though. I was very lucky to find curly maple at the lumber supplier.
