We had a fairly early build 2006 Solstice (not one of the first 1,000, but early nonetheless). We got the car in October 2006, and it was among the first dozen or so to reach the state of California. The second one to my knowledge on the Monterey peninsula. Since I was a boy, I've always taken my toys apart within a short while after I got them, usually on Christmas Day :) I took these photos for various members of solsticeforum.com either as I was doing the poking around, or by special request. I'm posting them all here so they are accessible.
Highlighted here is the actuator for the trunk release. The four studs on the bulkhead behind the driver's seat are where the amplifier mounts in a Monsoon-equipped Solstice. The electronic box on the driveshaft tunnel is the airbag system computer, if I recall correctly.

These bumpers adjust the gap between the hood and body panels aft of the front wheels (driver's side shown).

The passenger airbig status light is excessively bright. My solution was to dim it down some by putting cotton over the LEDs

Inside of climate control head unit. I had originally planned to get a smaller stereo head unit so I could move the climate control knobs down and install three additional gauges where the climate control knobs were. I was disappointed to see that it would be a difficult task.
Driveshaft and couplers (with cover plate removed)
Driver's side door panel
Driver's side plug for power window wiring
The upper void houses part of the factory subwoofer enclosure as well (the subwoofer was included in the Monsoon package only)

Blurry pic of antenna plug at headunit termination
Backside of fuse/relay panel and BCM, which resides in the passenger's footwell against the firewall.
Factory subwoofer (not my car, but one I was doing some work on)
Driver's side plug for power mirror wires, door lock actuator wires, dome light switch wires, and speaker wires.
