presson > As you walk in the front door, the bathroom is immediately on the right and then the kitchen is on the left. There is a storage closet across from the kitchen, on the right.

presson > This kitchen is called a "built in kitchen" in Germany. Basically that means it's got cabinets on the walls. This is a large kitchen by German standards. Forget about a turkey for Thanksgiving. You can't cook more than a six pound turkey in these ovens. German ovens are VERY small!

presson > Here is our living room. We have a balcony off the back.

presson > And heeerrre's the balcony. :) We have an awesome view out the back!

presson > This is our room. It's small but really cozy. The upper bedrooms have wood beam ceilings and a sloping roof on either side. Germans don't have closets in their bedrooms, so the military issues wardrobes to us. That's what you're looking at. To the left is a skylight/window in the sloped roof. It swings upward to open. The girls' room is across the hall. Flip the floorplan of this room and you've got their's except add a large dormer window in front.

presson > This is my paint room/guest room. This side is the painting room and the other side is the guest room. The walls aren't too decorated yet, but in time they will be.

presson > The guest room side. This room has it's own balcony too.

presson > Laundry room.
