We had a fairly early build 2006 Solstice (not one of the first 1,000, but early nonetheless). We got the car in October 2006, and it was among the first dozen or so to reach the state of California. The second one to my knowledge on the Monterey peninsula. Since I was a boy, I've always taken my toys apart within a short while after I got them, usually on Christmas Day :) I took these photos for various members of solsticeforum.com either as I was doing the poking around, or by special request. I'm posting them all here so they are accessible.
Highlighted here is the actuator for the trunk release. The four studs on the bulkhead behind the driver's seat are where the amplifier mounts in a Monsoon-equipped Solstice. The electronic box on the driveshaft tunnel is the airbag system computer, if I recall correctly.
